What is Baqi (باقی)?
Baqi is a mobile app for recording debts — like a shop’s debt book, but on your phone. You see who owes what, since when, and who has settled. For shops and for everyone. The name means “what remains” in Kurdish and Arabic.
Does it need the internet?
No. Baqi works completely offline — in the shop, at the market, anywhere.
Where are my records stored?
On your own phone. No account is needed, we have no server and we never see your records. You can protect it with a PIN.
What if I lose or change my phone?
Baqi makes a backup every day, and you can email the backup file to yourself. With that file your ledger comes back on the new phone.
Dinar and dollar together?
Yes, but never mixed: each currency has its own balance, and you can create a PDF statement for anyone.
